scary day

Today is halloween & there are alot of scary people with scary costumes on and the most people with the most costumes on is room8 .there are vampiers wizards witches fairys & pirates.it is my grandads birthday.

krista's holiday

on labour day i went on the plane to Auckland. when i got there me, mum, carol, dad and Caitlin went shopping. i got a top from pumpkin patch. then we went to the sky tower. i got a penny for my collection. we went to get our tickets from the man who gives you tickets. it was an amazing view. i thought it was beautiful. every time i saw the bits of glass floor i jumped on it. mum only went on the glass once because she's scared of this stuff. my favourite part in the sky tower was the elevator. because if you look down you can tell how fast your going. because the floor has a glass bit in it. it was mean Maori mean. then we went back to the hotel. we watched hero's.then we had a little read. then before you knew it was morning.we had to get dressed and get ready to go to the airport. when we got to the airport we had McDonald's for breakfast. then we had to go through customs. when we were about to get through the custom Caitlin realised that she forgot her retainers. dad said she wasn't allowed to go back. luckily she had a spear set of retainers. then we hopped on the plane. it took us three hours to get to nouvelle caledonie. when we got to Caledonia we had to get on the bus. because we had landed in tontouta. tontouta is 45 minutes out of Noumea. we had to stop at another hotel called Le meriden before we stopped at our hotel. then we got our hotel called nouvata park hotel. we had to check in but it took to long. because he was the front desk manager so he talked to the other people, he was opening packages and talking on the phone. then he finally gave us our key cards. we went up to our rooms. we had to rooms carol and Caitlin in room 3503 and me, mum and dad were in room 3502. then we went down to have a swim the was mean Maori mean. then carol gave us 6000 francs each. then it was night time we all watched Simpson's. then me and dad watched happy feet on my portable DVD player we went to bed. then it was morning we went for a walk we walked all the way to the ice-cream parlor. i got a chocolate ice-cream called chocolate noir when we came back i was looking in the closet and then i did this really weird thing i got my potable DVD player and hopped in the closet and listened to music. then i got my pillows and made a bed like. then i fell asleep in the cupboard. i woke up and got out of the closet and mum said do you hurt i said non (no). the next day we went to duck island for the first time it was stinkin' hot. mum told us that we should stick sun block on. me and Caitlin said we don't want to put sunblock on because we want a tan. dad and i went snorkeling. i followed fishys 9 times. dad told me to try go out deep. i didn't even get to move away from dad when i saw a fish and jumped up screaming. dad said what was wrong i said i saw a fishy. i wasn't allowed to go out deep just in case i saw a fish and screamed. then we went back to Caledonia on the water taxi. the next day we went to the morning markets. i bought to necklace charms. my necklace charms were a flower an a octopus. they were made out of shell. we thought we were going to get a necklace rope with it. i was going to by a real pearl as well but mum wouldn't let me. my sister bought a bracelet, which said i love Noumea. then we went to the handicraft markets. it wasn't what we thought it was. because we thought it would be cool. but it wasn't it was for computer nerds.so we went outside to find a place to have a snack. the place was horrible. i asked for a tropical juice and guess what i got a apricot juice. yuck. the people sitting next to us were smoking, so all the smoke would float other to us and ruin our chips. we went and crossed the road to sit on the grass next to the bus stop. we saw a homeless guy. an hour later the bus arrived. the bus took us to the culture centre.at the culture it was all about the island and it's history. it was very interesting. they had old island houses there. they smelt really bad. the smoke room smelt the worst. because that's were they cooked there fish and their meat. i hid in one of the houses. mum said were is Krista, then i gave her fright. because i jumped out of the house. then we had finished early so we sat on a seat. me and Caitlin were throwing things in the rubbish bin. i kept missing, but then mum gave us some yucky fruit sticks to chuck in the bin i got most of my half in. then we had to go to the bus stop. then the bus took us to the other markets. i had 1 1\2 hot dogs. i shared with carol. i had a chicken kebab with bqq sauce. i had a fraise (strawberry) slushy. i wanted a hula skirt, but mum wouldn't let me buy it. so we were waiting for a really long time for a bus but it would not come so we were walking to the taxi stand. then we were half way there, dad saw our bus coming. we ran back to the bus stop. but there were to much people on the bus so we just walked back to the taxi stand. when we got there, there was a family of 5. we waited for ages. then a taxi arrived it was for three only so me, mum and Caitlin went in the first taxi. it was a few minutes later when carol and dad got back. dad said that the family of 5 was still there and they had to little baby's with them. the next day we went to another island behind duck island. we saw lots of fish. me and dad saw a gigantic group of fish, it wasn't a school it was a university. when we were on the water taxi it leant over and the whole side of the boat almost touched the water. dad hired us some snorkels for the whole time we were there. when Caitlin and i went snorkeling the tide had gone out, so you could go out so far like were it usually would be other my head. but it was only up to our knees. then we saw a starfish trying to bury itself. dad and caitlin said they saw a sting ray. me, mum and carol were just sitting in the water,then i found a shell. it was big. then i realised that it was a hermit crab i screamed and chucked it on carol's foot. then we saw a crab that started moving we thought it was just a rock. then we had to go back to the motel. the next day we went to another beach it was fun, i went swimming. there were kids in front of us that were buildig like a village type thing, when they left i took over and started building it. when we were heading home we stopped of for ice-cream. i had chocolate noir again. we went back to the hotel and watched t.v for a few minutes, then mum, carol and dad went wine tasting. me and caitlin got to stay at the hotel. me and caitlin snuck down to the vending machines. we combined our lollies and had a party in caitlin's & carol's room. when the adults got back they told us off because we made a mess. we went back to the other hotel room. then i watched a dvd in the closet again. then we went to bed. the next day went to the morning markets again just in case it was better than last time. it was better than last time i got a pencil that was decorated. i got a flower for your hair. i wanted a hula skirt from on of the stalls, but again mum wouldn't let me just because it was 2000 francs.then we went to another beach. it wasn't what we thought so we went back. we decide to go to duck island again. we made sure we stuck sunblock on. we went snorkeling again i went out deeper. i made a city when the germans invaded france. but i made the french win but in real life they did. hten it was 4:00. so we went back to the hotel and we went to bed and we had to wake up because it was morning. we had to get ready to got o the airport. we got our suit cases ready then we took down to the front desk so we can have our breakfast. we had to get our bags and check out. we sat down and waited for the bus that takes us back to tontouta the finally arrived. we got to tontouta. then we went through got through all the customs. then we got on the plane. we arrived in to Auckland. then we went through customs again. then someone told us that we only had a few minutes left.so we had to run from international to some other place. then finally got on the plane. luckily we weren't the last ones to get on the plane. we finally were in wellington. we got the car and drive home.
